Northwest Burn Foundation Quilt Delivery

Rosan sent me these pictures a few months ago, but I forgot to post them.  She delivered a large number of quilts to be used for the Northwest Foundation Family Burn Camp to Executive Director Amber in western Washington, who was delighted to receive them.

May Highlights and June Meeting

Sorry, this is late.  I've been too busy for words!

The June meeting will be June 13th with June serving refreshments and I'm not sure about a program.

Rosan delivered quite a few quilts to the Kiwanis, pics will be in another post.

April Highlights and May Meeting

The next meeting will be Thursday, May 9th.  Julie will be presenting a program on "Hexagon Quilts, Not Just Your Grandmother's Flower Garden".  Donna K. will be providing refreshments.

Rosan presented a program on Slice and Dice Quilts.  There are many ways to slice up nine patch blocks.  Some of them work best with a uniform fabric in the corners.  Handouts were given out for Jelly Bean, Dragonfly and Basket blocks.  Thanks Rosan!

In addition to the quilts pictured below, Judy, Julie and Rosan all made small quilts for Operation Kid Comfort.  The quilts are not shown in the photos as they have children's names on them.
